Product Features:

1. Long-term Stability: With its lifetime non-curing property it can maintain continuous adhesion for more than 5 years in long-term humid and water pressure environments of tunnels, without delamination.

2. Corrosion Resistance: It is resistant acid and alkali corrosion from groundwater, and can resist erosion by precipitated alkaline substances from concrete in tunnels, with no performance degradation of the layer.

3. Construction Adaptability: It can be normally constructed at a low temperature of15℃, adapting to the low-temperature working environment in tunnels in winter, and no additional heating equipment is required.

4. Displacement Compensation: Featuring excellent elastic elongation, it can offset the subtle displacement caused by tunnel structure settlement, and will not cause sealing failure due to structural deformation.

Construction Steps:

 1. Base Layer Pre-Treatment: Use a wire brush to remove laitance from both sides of the construction joint; blow all dust away with a high-pressure air gun, and dry a hot air gun if the base surface is damp.

2. Tape Installation: Apply the butyl tape the center of the construction joint, lay it while peeling off the release liner, and compact evenly with a rubber mallet to ensure the is fully seated in the joint.

3. Reinforcement Fixing: Use matching cement steel nails and pressure strips to secure the tape’s edge to the base every 50 cm to prevent the tape from shifting.

4. Secondary Inspection: Check the entire length of the construction joint tape to confirm no breaks or voids. Only after acceptance proceed to the subsequent pouring process.
