Preparation Method:

 1. The manufacturing process of butyl waterproof tape mainly includesating butyl rubber, then sequentially adding fillers and relevant additives, extruding and shaping after mixing, and finally slitting and packaging to the finished product. 2. Temperature control of the mold is crucial during the manufacturing process, and the temperature should be maintained at an appropriate level. Product highly depends on the formula of raw materials. For example, plasticizers need to have good compatibility butyl rubber; improper selection will cause plasticizers to leach out from the tape, thereby affecting product performance.

Construction Methods:

1. Base Surface Treatment: Remove loose soil and standing water the base surface of the underground structure. For sanding areas, first apply an agent for reinforcement, and conduct subsequent construction only after it is completely dry.

2 . Joint Laying: Lay the butyl tape along the entire length of the structural construction joint. The lap length of the tape shall be no less than15cm. After compaction, ensure no voids exist at the joints.

3. Protective Layer Construction: After the is pasted, promptly pour a fine aggregate concrete protective layer on the outside to prevent the subsequent backfill soil from damaging the tape.

4. Hiddenance: Conduct a water-closure test after construction is completed, and proceed to the next hidden procedure only after confirming no leakage.
