Polyethylene‑polypropylene (PE‑PP) polymer composite waterproofing membrane is manufactured by one‑step extrusion composite process, with modified polyethylene as the core waterproof layer laminated with high‑strength polypropylene non‑woven fabric on both sides. The three‑dimensional mesh pores on the non‑woven fabric surface enable interlocking and solidifying integration with cement mortar. Common specifications: thickness 0.6‑1.5 mm, width 1‑1.2 m, roll length 50‑100 m. It is widely applied to waterproofing and anti‑seepage projects for roofs, basements, bathrooms, water tanks, pipe galleries and other buildings.

4.1 Pre‑lay and snap lines to adjust membrane position. Reserve lap width: long‑side lap ≥100 mm, short‑side lap ≥100‑150 mm. Adjacent short‑side joints shall be staggered by more than 500 mm.
4.2 Evenly spread cement bonding mortar on substrate at thickness 1.2‑2 mm. Roll out the membrane, squeeze air out from center to edges by scraper or roller to achieve tight bonding with bonding rate ≥80%. Do not stretch the membrane during laying.
4.3 Compact joints with sufficient mortar to avoid edge curling and hollowing.
5. Protective Layer & Curing After inspection and qualified water‑closing test for finished waterproof layer, construct 20 mm‑thick 1:2.5 cement‑sand protective layer. Set expansion joints and cure by water sprinkling. No walking on waterproof layer within 24 hours to prevent damage.
