Flexible Rigid Composite Js Waterproof Coating
Substrate Preparation
The substrate shall be sound, flat and clean. Remove laitance, dust, oil stains and loose layers. Repair holes and cracks in advance. Fully wet the substrate before construction, keep it damp without standing water. Clean and polish vulnerable details such as corners, pipe penetrations and construction joints.
Two‑component Mixing
Follow the mixing ratio strictly. Add liquid component first, then powder component. Electrically stir for 2‑3 minutes until smooth lump‑free slurry is obtained. Mix on‑demand and use within pot life. Do not re‑mix expired slurry by adding extra water.
Detail Reinforcement
Apply a thin coat of JS slurry on leakage‑prone areas such as pipe roots, wall‑penetrating pipes, corners, construction joints and post‑pouring belts. Lay non‑woven or glass‑fiber fabric for positions with large deformation. Proceed to large‑area construction after reinforcement layer is fully dried.
Multi‑coat Large‑area Application
Apply 2‑3 cross‑direction coats by brush, roller or trowel. Apply next coat only when previous coat is dry and non‑sticky. Apply successive coats in perpendicular directions. Strictly control total film thickness, ensure uniform coating without missing or accumulation.
Curing & Curing Period
Suitable construction temperature: 5‑35℃. Stop construction in rainy, snowy and windy conditions. Conduct natural curing after surface drying. Prevent rain wash and direct strong sunlight. Keep good ventilation for full cross‑linking and curing.
Finished‑product Protection & Subsequent Work
Avoid foot traffic, impact and water immersion during curing period. After the coating achieves full performance, plastering, mortar leveling, tile laying and backfilling can be carried out directly without extra interface treatment.
| NO. | Precautions |
| 1 | Construction temperature shall be 5‑35℃. Outdoor construction is prohibited under rainy, snowy, foggy and windy conditions. |
| 2 | Substrate shall be sound and flat. Damp substrate is acceptable, but standing water is strictly forbidden. |
| 3 | Strictly follow liquid‑powder mixing ratio. Do not change ratio arbitrarily, and avoid adding extra water to dilute slurry. |
| 4 | Prepare slurry for immediate use. Finish application within pot life. Do not reuse expired slurry by adding water. |
| 5 | Apply multiple thin coats. The next coat can only be applied after previous coat is dry and non‑sticky. |
| 6 | Reinforcement treatment shall be done for vulnerable parts: corners, pipe roots and construction joints. |
| 7 | Reinforcing non‑woven fabric or glass‑fiber mat is recommended for areas with large structural deformation. |
| 8 | Type I product cannot bear long‑term direct UV exposure. Protective layer is mandatory for exposed application. |
| 9 | Avoid rain scouring, strong sunlight exposure, impact and foot traffic during construction and curing. |
| 10 | Do not carry out water immersion, backfilling or tiling before full curing of waterproof film. |
| 11 | Clean mixing and application tools timely to prevent slurry hardening on equipment. |
| 12 | Protect liquid component from freezing and powder component from moisture. Use within shelf‑life. |
