Sand-surfaced Backed Hdpe Pre-laid Waterproof Membrane

Product Advantages

1. Dual-sided structure: The backing layer strengthens tensile and tear resistance; the sand-coated layer provides strong concrete interlock, stable dimension and less construction damage.

2. Pre-laid reverse bonding & anti-water channeling: The sand surface interlocks firmly with post-poured concrete, integrating waterproof layer with structure to eliminate hidden leakage and water channeling.

3. High puncture and tear resistance: HDPE base material effectively resists piercing and extrusion from steel bars and gravel.

4. Cold application & safe construction: No open flame, no hot melt. Construction available on damp substrates, safe for underground confined spaces.

Construction Process

1. Substrate treatment: Remove sharp debris and bumps. Flat and damp surface is acceptable, no standing water.

2. Directional laying: Lay the membrane with backing side down and sand surface upward toward concrete structure.

3. Lap sealing: Remove release film, press laps tightly. Apply reinforcement at corners and details.

4. Edge fixing: Fix and seal membrane ends and laps with pressure strips to avoid displacement and blistering.

5. Finished product protection: Avoid sharp impact and puncture. Complete steel bar binding timely.

6. Concrete pouring: Pour concrete directly on the sand surface to achieve integral reverse bonding waterproof structure.

Application Scenarios

Suitable for all underground pre-laid reverse bonding waterproof projects: Basement slabs, underground garages, 

underground side walls, subways, tunnels, utility tunnels, civil air defense projects and other underground structures.

Not applicable: Exposed roof and long-term outdoor sunlight environment.
