1. Substrate treatment: Clean the construction substrate to ensure a flat, solid, dust-free, oil-free and crack-free surface. Make arc-shaped corners at internal and external corners to keep the substrate dry and clean, meeting the basic requirements for waterproof construction.
2. Line marking and positioning: Snap reference lines according to the membrane width to accurately plan the paving position, ensure straight laying and uniform overlapping width, and avoid skew and insufficient overlapping.
3. Detailed additional layer construction: Pre-lay additional waterproof layers at vulnerable leakage parts including internal and external corners, pipe roots, water outlets, deformation joints and wall-penetrating holes. The width of the additional layer shall be no less than 500mm and fixed by hot melting to strengthen node waterproof protection.
4. Membrane pre-laying: Unfold and lay the membrane flat on the substrate for adjustment of flatness and overlapping size, then roll it up neatly for subsequent hot-melt paving.
5. Hot-melt paving: Evenly heat the membrane bottom and substrate with a flame spray gun at a temperature of 200-250℃. When the asphalt on the membrane bottom melts and forms a uniform molten layer, roll forward the membrane while heating, and compact with a roller to exhaust air and eliminate hollowing and wrinkles.
6. Overlap sealing: The long-side overlapping width shall be ≥80mm, and the short-side overlapping width shall be ≥100mm. Fully hot-melt and bond the overlapping parts to ensure overflow and tight sealing of asphalt at joints. Reinforce corners and joints completely to avoid leakage gaps.
7. End fixing and sealing: Press the membrane ends into reserved grooves, fix with metal pressure strips and seal the edges with sealing glue to prevent edge warping and water ingress, ensuring overall tightness of the waterproof layer.
8. Final inspection and protection: Fully inspect the completed waterproof layer, repair defects such as hollowing, cracking and insufficient overlapping in time. Protect the finished exposed roof waterproof layer to avoid damage from subsequent construction operations.
