Product Introduction

Sand‑faced APP waterproof membrane is a kind of plastic‑modified asphalt waterproof membrane. It adopts petroleum asphalt modified by atactic polypropylene (APP), with polyester felt or glass fiber felt as the base carrier. The upper surface of the membrane is covered with fine sand separating layer, and the lower surface is a hot‑melt film. Hot‑melt construction is the main application method. The sand‑faced top layer improves bonding performance with subsequent mortar and tiles. It is widely used for waterproof positions requiring protective layers and facing finishes, and shall not be exposed to direct sunlight for long‑term service.
