Copper-core root-resistant PE-PP composite waterproof membrane is an integrated hot-pressed polymer sheet. Modified polyethylene acts as the main waterproof layer, with embedded copper foil core as physical root-barrier layer. High-strength polypropylene non-woven fabric is laminated on both sides. The copper foil core provides physical barrier against plant root piercing. The mesh-structured PP non-woven fabric achieves mechanical interlocking with cement mortar for cold wet-laid construction. It integrates waterproofing and root-resistance. Compared with aluminum-core version, copper foil features better anti-corrosion performance and longer service life. It serves as all-in-one waterproof & root-barrier material for high-grade green roof projects without extra root barrier layer.
