Construction Steps

1. Base Layer Cleaning: Thoroughly sweep the base of floors and walls in bathrooms and balconies, remove all oil stains, dust and loose mortar chunks. Use leak-stopping agent to fill all cracks and holes the floors, ensuring the base surface is smooth and dry. For positions with internal and external corners, use leak-stopping agent to form small arcs.

2. Detailed Part Pre-treatment: At positions most prone to leakage, such as pipe roots, around floor drains, and internal/external corners first stick a layer of 200mm-wide self-adhesive PVC reinforcing strip, press firmly by hand toel air bubbles, and complete node reinforcement treatment in advance.

3. Pre-laying Trial Placement: Place the self-adhesive waterproof roll with its backing (without release film) facing down, unfold naturally on the ground for trial laying. Cut the roll to the appropriate size based on ground dimensions, minimizing roll seams. The roll at the junction of wall and floor shall be turned up onto the wall at least 300mm high.

 4. Peel-off and Laying: Slowly tear off the release film on the back of the roll from one end, and lay the roll smoothly on the base surface while. Use a rubber roller to roll repeatedly from the center to the surrounding, completely expelling all air under the roll, ensuring the roll is tightly adhered to base surface without any hollowing.

5. Lap Joint Treatment: Control the lap width between rolls at 50mm. After tearing off the release at the lap joint, use a roller to roll repeatedly on the lap edge, the lap joint is fully bonded and sealed. For edge positions, heat slightly with a hot gun to improve bonding firmness.

6. Wall Laying: After completing floor roll laying, lay the roll on the wall in same way. The lap seam of the wall roll shall be set along the water flow direction to avoid reverse water lap joints. The wall waterproof height shall be1.8m or full height as required.

7. Edge Sealing: For all roll termination positions, sealant to completely seal the gaps between roll edges and wall junctions, preventing cement mortar from entering under the roll when tiling later and causing delamination Water-blocking Acceptance: 24 hours after construction is completed, the self-adhesive glue is fully bonded, block the door entrance and floor drains, and water to 20mm at the highest point of the ground.
